Booking as a group is a way of getting discounted theatre tickets. To take advantage of these reduced prices you need to have a group of 10 people or more. 

Theatres will discount top price tickets to groups and sometimes, the more people you have in your group, the bigger the discount will be.

Discounts vary greatly but will generally be anywhere between 30% and 50% off the ticket price. There are different types of group bookings; adults, OAPs, students, overseas students and also school groups. 

To qualify for a school group booking, proof of school status must be given. Group tickets can only be sold to genuine “groups” and tickets must not, under any circumstances, be sold on. 

If you can get 10 friends together then a group booking is the way to go! Groups are normally only available for Monday to Thursday performances and are not readily available at weekends and school holidays.
